Mac OS X 10.8 Lion Mountain is probably one of the best versions of OSX that Apple has released in recent years, unfortunately the new operating system only available online. What happens to your Mac if you install appears to be corrupt and will not start? One option is to backup to disk, if you still want to try all the photos and music from your disk to retrieve it. But besides a backup installation of Mountain Lion is much more possible than just your system restore.
Although it is possible to manually adjust a bootable DVD / USB drive to make, there is an application that does all this for you automatically. All you need to do is download the Mountain Lion Mac App Store and launch the application. Lion Disk Maker will immediately find the installation file of Mountain Lion and ask you if you have a DVD or USB drive to use.
The only thing the user must ensure that there are missing 8 GB of space available (dual-layer DVD or 8 GB + USB) and make sure that the installation of Mountain Lion has not started. The installation file has a tendency to self-delete.
Please also note that Lion Disk Maker will delete the entire partition when there is an installation disk is made of Mountain Lion. Make sure that important files are copied to the computer.
The great advantage of Lion Disk Maker is that it is freely available, the developer does require a small donation, although this is not compulsory. An 8 GB USB flash drive you have now already for a few dollars, for this small amount you can in any case a lot of problems.
The new version of Disk Maker now supports Lion Mountain Lion and can be downloaded free here.
