New documents unveiled by Apple during the lawsuit against Samsung give a surprising amount of insight into the sales of the iPhone, iPhone and iPod touch. The documents stated that Apple in the past five years averaged $ 590 in sales made for each iPhone sold. By iPad was on average $ 560 in revenue booked. The figures look to the U.S. market.
The figures show that the iPhone and iPad especially in the United States is sold. That in itself is nothing new, since Apple in the past America as its largest market labeled, but the documents have figures to support this. It shows that 85 million iPhones sold in the United States. In late June Strategy Analytics has estimated that worldwide 250 million iPhones have been sold.
