Nokia’s remotely-accessible phones shows signs of Lumia 1001. It seems therefore that the Finnish manufacturer a smartphone with that name is currently in development, but no details yet. The Lumia 1001 was discovered by TechCrunch, which serve as the Remote Device Access tool used by Nokia. Nokia Allows remote hardware control. The software is built with a list of hardware, including the Lumia 1001 was mentioned.
This device is not yet released by Nokia, the latest smartphone Lumia wears uniform number 900. It is still unclear whether the Lumia Nokia 1001 is actually released. The device appeared in the list, true enough, but there is nothing known about the specifics. There are also names in the hardware list of products not on the consumer market have appeared. But it happens more often that traces of yet to be released smartphones are discovered in software from the manufacturer.
If the 1001 Lumia actually be developed by Nokia, it is likely that it is a Windows Phone 8-appliance. Microsoft announced the new version of the mobile OS recently, which showed that many things in the OS is not backwards compatible. It therefore seems unlikely that Nokia has a new Lumia-model with the older Windows Phone 7.x ban.
Recently, in the same remote access tool called Lumia 910 already discovered. A Lumia device with the same version number was some time ago already found, which was then thought that it was a European version of the Lumia 900 would go. Possibly there is now a 910 from Lumia, but as with the 1001 Lumia missing details.
