The iPhone has a preference for Wi-Fi networks. Start an app thatconnects to the Internet, you will first consider whether there can be usedwith Wi-Fi. There is no Wi-Fi is available, the app gets its data from withinthe 3G network. In iOS 6 is therefore added a new feature, which can be found in iOS 6 beta 4. It’s the switch Wi-Fi and cellular network, “in English” Wi-Fi Plus Cellular. Turn this into, you will have difficulty apps that data to win over Wi-Fi automatically select the mobile network. You can evenspecify exactly in which cases you want to use the mobile network. There are separate switches for icloud documents, iTunes, passbook updates and Reading List. FaceTime also has a separate switch.
You turn it on in the Settings app by going to: General> Mobile Network. At the bottom you will find the switch and the switches per application. In an earlier beta version of IOS 6 (beta 2) was already a similar function to find, but now it seems to be finally added.
