According to The Observer, The Daily iPad app is currently under receivership. Rupert Murdoch, owner of the publishing company behind The Daily, would not be satisfied with the turnover of the newspaper and the loss that the newspaper since the beginning is already running. The newspaper is following the presidential elections in November reassessed and the probability seems high that the same than the fate of the newspaper is sealed. 
The selling digital editions remain behind and meanwhile there are already some redundancies. The iPad app newspaper is currently running a loss of $ 30 million per year and publisher that News Corp. would no longer want to wear. The digital newspaper exclusively on the iPad is to receive, currently has around 100,000 paying users. A Variant Android would also go, although it is unclear whether it still will be launched. The Daily in February 2011 in the life created by News Corp. and Apple. The two companies worked closely together for the first tablet to establish newspapers. Reportedly pays Apple also contributed to the maintenance of the iPad app newspaper.
